The above Russian trains timetable is subject to changes, double check with our online ticket and timetable engine.
Prices for Russian trains are different for each train number and vary also in different seasons (between 20-50 EUR). We recommend to buy tickets at least one day before departure, and in peak travel season (June-Sept) at least 2-3 weeks in advance, as tickets are rare, especially for 1st class. The most expensive ticket costs about USD 400 for a compartment in the rolling 5-Star-Hotel train “Grand Express” with an en-suite bathroom, DVD player and Internet access, bar and restaurant wagons. You can buy tickets also directly at the train station (see our forum message How to buy tickets Petersburg-Moscow, train info).
