Hong Kong – 14 days for all type of passports. There is no visa fee for diplomatic and official passports. Ordinary passport holders pay visa fee if they travel for more than 14 days.
Israel – 30 days for all type of passports
Kazakhstan – 90 days for all type of passports
Malaysia – 30 days for all type of passports
Philippines – 21 days for all type of passports
Singapore – 14 days for all type of passports
Cuba – 30 days for all type of passports
Laos – 30 days for all type of passports
Thailand – 30 days for all type of passports
Japan – 30 days for all type of passports
Macao – 90 days for all type of passports
Ukraine – 90 days for all type of passports
Belarus – 90 days for all type of passports
Georgia – 90 days for all type of passports
Kyrgyzstan – 90 days for all type of passports
China – 30 days for diplomatic and official passport holders. Ordinary passport holders need visa.
North Korea – 90 days for diplomatic and official passport holders. Ordinary passport holders need visa.
USA – 90 days for all type of passports
Germany – 30 days for all type of passports (since September 1, 2013)
Turkey – 30 days for all type of passports (since April 11, 2014)
Russia – 30 days for all type of passports (since November 14, 2014)
Serbia – 90 days for all type of passports

No visa is required for Americans visiting for fewer than 90 days. Visitors planning to stay in Mongolia for more than 30 days are required to register with the Immigration, Naturalization and Foreign Citizens Agency in Ulaanbaatar during their first week of arrival. Visitors who fail to register and stay longer than 30 days may be stopped at departure, denied exit, and fined. Americans planning to work or study in Mongolia should apply for a visa at a Mongolian Embassy or Consulate overseas.

Travelers from Israel, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland and Singapore that still need a visa can obtain the Mongolian visa within 24 hours without invitation provided if they intend to stay less than 2 weeks.

Most “Mongolian Embassy”: accept visa applications by mail and can issue the visa within 5-10 days. At the Mongolian Embassy in Moscow, and at the Mongolian Consulate in Irkutsk, it is possible to receive your Mongolian visa in one or two days (for about USD 30-50). Apply for the visa immediately when arriving in these cities.
